Biography

Blake Luquette, born in 1981 in Lafayette, Louisiana, has lived a life of diverse experiences. From his early aspirations in Cajun music to his shift to Country music after a George Strait concert, Blake's musical journey has been dynamic. At 16, he signed with Ralph Records, opening for major Country artists before joining the Marine Corps in 2000. As a Marine Infantryman, he participated in combat missions in Iraq, including the "Battle of Fallujah" in 2004.

After his military service, Blake worked in the oilfield industry for 15 years before returning to music in 2019. He released "Bōston Fais Do-Do", "Pour The Hurt On" in 2022, and “Country Song” in 2023. In 2024, Blake founded Tripod Records and Acadian Pride Multimedia Production Company. His upcoming single, "Calm In My Storm," reflects his personal struggles and triumphs.

Blake's vision for Tripod Records is to promote musicians of Acadian/Cajun and French Creole descent, as well as other Creoles of African Heritage. He continues to perform across South Louisiana and Southeast Texas, embodying an inspiring and multifaceted life story. Blake is married to Heidi Daigle Luquette, and they have two children.
